Weeks ago, when the missus and I came home from Spain after Thanksgiving, we attempted to download photos from the camera to our computer – thwarted.

Between work, work parties, visitors from out of town and sickness this past week has been a little bit crazy here. It’s late Sunday night (late for me, that is) and I’m still up and going….

Preparing for the new year

The missus and I completely bastardized a recipe for a black-eyed pea salad from one of our favorite cookbooks today. We’ll be making the salad again in the first week of the new year as we count down the important foods to eat early in the year (Eggs Benedict, black-eyed peas, reuben sandwiches…)
